Glens Falls, NY — A former Green Party of New York candidate for local and statewide office has been appointed to the Glens Falls Urban Renewal Agency.

Robin Barkenhagen, 2016 candidate for NYS AD114 and 2017 candidate for Glens Falls Council-at-Large was officially appointed to the Agency on 2/13/18.

Robin, who received 35% of the vote in the 2017 race, credits his appointment to the energy he displayed and the ideas he offered during the campaign.

"I am ecstatic to announce that I have been appointed to the Glens Falls Urban Renewal Agency. I'd like to thank Mayor Hall for appointing me and the Common Council for approving the appointment. I have been eager to serve my community, and I can't wait to get started." said Robin.
