Due to Trump’s Big Bad Bill, 1 1/2 million more New Yorkers will soon become uninsured, joining the millions more of us who are already either uninsured or underinsured. This is immoral, cruel, and we MUST stop it. To that end, faith leaders, champions of the New York Health Act, and everyday New Yorkers are coming together to urge Governor Hochul to convene a special session immediately and bring the NY Health Act to the floor for a vote. New York must pass this lifesaving legislation that will provide comprehensive publicly funded healthcare for ALL New Yorkers to protect us from federal cuts to care, insurance industry and big pharma corporate greed.
