March to End Fossil Fuels

A mass demonstration in New York City, calling on President Biden to take bold action to end fossil fuel production and expansion. The march will take place a few days before the United Nations hosts its annual Climate Ambition Summit calling on world leaders to commit to ending fossil fuel expansion. The march is being organized by a coalition of local and national organizations of all shapes and sizes. GPNY has endorsed this march and calls upon Greens and allies to participate.

Greens will meet at the corner of 57th and 8th Ave (southeast corner) at 12:15 PM. At 12:45 PM we will go one block east to the corner of 57th and Broadway. This is a few blocks south of Columbus Circle (at the start of Central Park on the west side). Note that this may change again as the police often like to change things at the last moment. Bring Mark Dunlea's cell phone number with you in case things do change on the day of the march (518-860-3725).
