Where: The Abraham Lincoln hotel, Fifth and Washington streets, Reading [PA]

Topics of public workshops: Include ending the death penalty, reparations in the drug war, media in campaigns, state lobbying, training phone bank fundraisers, running for office, the antiwar movement and stress management for advocates.

Other public events:
Friday, 5:30 to 7 p.m., forum with Green Party candidates planning to seek the party's nomination for president in 2008
Saturday, 7 p.m., in the Sovereign Performing Arts Center, rally with Ralph Nader, longtime consumer advocate and three-time presidential candidate. He will speak about the party's key values of grassroots democracy, sustainable economics, nonviolence and ecology, and the difficulties third-party candidates have gaining access to ballots because of restrictive laws in Pennsylvania.
