GET OUT THE VOTE in Chinatown, Sunset Park, to elect Carmen V Hulbert to City Council in District 38 with the Green Party.
Talk to people and knock on doors to get people to vote for Carmen in the general elections on Tuesday, November 7.
Carmen is continuing with the political work she started in 2015 campaigning for Bernie Sanders in her community and other areas in New York City.
She is against the rezoning Industry City has requested in the waterfront. Changing to a mixed zoning, residential and industrial, will lead to rent and tax increases and the exodus of our neighbors. Tenants and small owners will be priced out and they will have to leave the area.
We need to protect our waterfront, bring green jobs, stronger public education and reliable transportation with more buses and a better subway system to serve the area. NO TO THE BQX!!!
