Please join the Green Party of NY contingent at the State of the Climate on Wed. Jan. 13 in Albany. GPNY is proud to co-sponsor this event and we want to raise our voices and our signs to say New York needs a Green New Deal! It's time to halt the effects of climate change through 100% clean, renewable energy while creating millions of living wage jobs in the sustainability and conservation sectors.

We need to stop all fossil fuels: pipelines, power plants, compressor stations, storage facilities, oil bomb trains–and stop nukes.

The Governor's annual State of the State and budget announcement will be that day, and we have reason to believe climate change will be a major theme. That's why we need to be there to hold him accountable, beyond political posturing!
